August Currently!

I give you my August Currently:

LISTENING: So, okay.  I am obsessed with Pitch Perfect.  I know; it's not rational.  The movie isn't even that good...but I LOVE IT.  Don't ask me why.  I got my husband to figure out how to make ringtones with the songs.  So now my phone plays Don't You Forget About Me (for all you young folk, it's from The Breakfast Club) whenever I have an alarm set or if someone calls me.  And yes, I let it ring a bit longer because I want to hear it :)

LOVING: I finally went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned!  It's been awhile, and I am terrified of the dentist (bad experience as a kid, long story).  I went, and it's over!

THINKING: Seeing that I'm suppose to leave for Texas on Sunday, from Richmond (3 hours away), I should pack.  But no, I'm writing on my blog. :)

WANTING: I need about that much time to get my head around the new job (YES!), living with my husband (YAY!), getting my room ready (EEKA!), and moving (UGH!).  Hence, wanting to aparate.  That means I can twirl around and be somewhere else instantly.  Do you know how easy moving, shopping, going anywhere would be?

NEEDING: This house is full of stuff I don't even remember buying!  I never knew I had so much junk!  Fall Cleaning here I come!

B2s:
1.) Everyone needs Flair Pens; that's all there is to it.
2.) My new school doesn't give us plan books; so I am in need of one.  I could make one, but honestly, I really don't have the time.  I'm contemplating using Planbook.com this year to see how it would go.  I used it sparingly last year, and I liked it okay.
3.) I really want Hope King's Desire to Inspire Subway Art Pack.  My room has lots of walls and this would be a great motivational part!

and that's about it.  Okay, maybe I should do laundry, so I can pack soon.

Happy Fourth you guys!!

So...reading the blogs from the Currently (this is one of the coolest ideas I have seen! Thanks again, Farley!)  took awhile.  I know I was supposed to follow the Rule of Three; however, there were so many cute blogs on there!  I did manage to follow yet a few more.  I think my husband has given me up as a bad job; I've been on the computer so long the past few days!

I've been working on a SMARTBoard product for TpT.  Hopefully, I'll be able to have it up soon.  I hope everyone is having a blast today!  I know I have to get ready for a barbecue soon :)

New Blogs, Currently, and My Grab Button!

I'm starting to read and follow so many blogs that I am overflowing with tidbits of information for classroom setups, lesson plans/ideas, clip art, etc!  I might need to start a list of all the awesome things I see!!  I got this lovely list off of Oh' Boy 4th Grade.  Check it out and her blog!  It's great.

I finally created a grab button!  It took me forever even with The 3am Teacher's tutorial.  I don't know what I was doing wrong, but the sizing kept messing up.  However, no one ever said I wasn't persistent or stubborn for that matter!  Here it is!  I got the shape of the button from Michelle, but I did play around with the colors and textures :)  Thanks again, Michelle!

I am so stinking excited right now!  I have 18 followers; I had like 2 the day before!  I hope the fun continues.  Thank you for those who added me to their blog reading!  A HUGE THANKS to The 3am Teacher for posting me on her FB page!

PROUD of Me!

I'm not going to lie; I am so proud of me right now! I changed the look to my blog. I know that might not be a big deal to some people, but for me, it's a big deal! With a lot of Photoshop tantrums and screaming at my computer, I made my "title." I am very pleased with it. It only took me four and a half hours to make, that's all. I added a bunch of stuff to my blog as well. Hopefully, I'll get people to look at it more when I add stuff to my TpT store. That site is amazing! Bed now, I'm exhausted!
