August Currently!

I give you my August Currently:

LISTENING: So, okay.  I am obsessed with Pitch Perfect.  I know; it's not rational.  The movie isn't even that good...but I LOVE IT.  Don't ask me why.  I got my husband to figure out how to make ringtones with the songs.  So now my phone plays Don't You Forget About Me (for all you young folk, it's from The Breakfast Club) whenever I have an alarm set or if someone calls me.  And yes, I let it ring a bit longer because I want to hear it :)

LOVING: I finally went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned!  It's been awhile, and I am terrified of the dentist (bad experience as a kid, long story).  I went, and it's over!

THINKING: Seeing that I'm suppose to leave for Texas on Sunday, from Richmond (3 hours away), I should pack.  But no, I'm writing on my blog. :)

WANTING: I need about that much time to get my head around the new job (YES!), living with my husband (YAY!), getting my room ready (EEKA!), and moving (UGH!).  Hence, wanting to aparate.  That means I can twirl around and be somewhere else instantly.  Do you know how easy moving, shopping, going anywhere would be?

NEEDING: This house is full of stuff I don't even remember buying!  I never knew I had so much junk!  Fall Cleaning here I come!

B2s:
1.) Everyone needs Flair Pens; that's all there is to it.
2.) My new school doesn't give us plan books; so I am in need of one.  I could make one, but honestly, I really don't have the time.  I'm contemplating using Planbook.com this year to see how it would go.  I used it sparingly last year, and I liked it okay.
3.) I really want Hope King's Desire to Inspire Subway Art Pack.  My room has lots of walls and this would be a great motivational part!

and that's about it.  Okay, maybe I should do laundry, so I can pack soon.

Hi All,

I'm linking up with Farley for her Currently party.  Apparently, I am in a bit of a mood (according to it).  Read on, it might amuse you.

So yeah, if you haven't noticed, I have a wasp in my house!  I hate bugs...especially the kind that can fly and sting/bite.  I have a horrible reaction to mosquito bites and the blasted things love me.  It is not reciprocated at all!  Fredericksburg is crawling with them too!  Growl...I am not a happy camper right now!!  Hopefully, it will fly into the nice jelly jar I have for it....wish me luck!

Currently!

I have been blog stalking Oh' Boy 4th Grade for her currently!  She had it up today!  Wheee! Here's what I've been up to:

I mean who isn't listening to the Olympics...mine's going on in the background....I was on pins and needles watching the gymnastics all around last night!

I love being on vacation; I love being with my in-laws even more!  I mean seriously, I get to come to Texas every year for a week and a half and get pampered.  I got to go to the Yacht Club last night!  I can tell you, I definitely don't belong to a Yacht Club at home. Here's a picture from the deck of the club.

Anyway, I'm getting very excited listening to some teachers talk about getting their room ready!  I still have a month to go.  We start very late, after Labor Day late.  I know, some one you guys are probably cursing me, but I bet you get to get out way earlier than I do.

Must have caffeine...if I don't, Mike asks if I've coffee as soon as I start grumbling. Gotta love husbands!

Okay, I know a bunch of people like owls, but this is getting out of hand!  I plan to do an owl theme for my class this year; I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one at me school doing, it so it'll be okay.  If not, it's all good because I didn't go and buy the ready made kind!  I made my own, thank you very much! Check them out!

Then I figured out how to make them in Photoshop , and this is what happened:

I made 25 of them; one for each student (I hope I don't have 25, but just in case).  I'm contemplating selling them in my store.  What do you guys think?

Flair Pens..that's just obvious.

Crate Seats!  I keep seeing them everywhere and I had wanted to do them last year.  I got a bunch of MILK CRATES instead of the file crates.  So my crates do not have that lip to put the seat on!  If anyone can figure out how to make a milk crate into a seat please, pretty please, with a cherry on top, message me!
